From start to finish, we had an excellent experience with Schwarz Lewis Design. We originally picked Brad for the beautiful homes he had already designed. Brad Lewis patiently listened to all our ideas and made suggestions to improve our plan for a custom home. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable; we have absolutely no complaints. Even after the architectural designs were completed, they continued to provide ongoing support to make sure all plans were submitted appropriately locally. The staff, especially Paige, has been extremely responsive to any or all concerns, questions, or additional information. Overall, we had a truly exceptional experience and would highly recommend Schwarz Lewis Design Group.

Professionally, A low stress experience with firm. Project completed in a reasonably timely and efficient manner. Transparent and positive mutual interactions upfront, including well considered inputs from the builder, The Walker Group, resulted in very minor revision details once construction commenced. Architecturally, A French Provincial style with well optimized siting on the property relative to required setbacks and existing structures on property. Understated and timeless design execution in keeping with the FP style. All elevation details are aesthetically in proportion. No visually aberrant masses such as poorly scaled dormers, too heavy limestone details and out of proportion roof. As well, no unnecessary exterior faux details that defy physics, and no needless changes in exterior finishes. A dedicated basement exit, which are now seemingly less common in new construction, was unobtrusively integrated into the design. The interior features properly proportioned floor plans that flow seemlessly with good ergonomic relationships --no poorly considered interferences or odd structure intrusions into living space that waste space and are a hallmark of poor design. Very efficient and handsome finishes with bespoke cabinetry, curving staircases and custom doors. Structurally, very solid construction accommodating radiant heat floors with tubing set in lightweight concrete and finished with wood floors throughout.

My husband and I have worked with Brad Lewis on designing the plans for our future home. I have been in the design industry for many years and I knew exactly what I wanted in an architect. Brad and his team display a wonderful balance of creativity and knowledge of quality construction. Brad so wonderfully designs homes with timeless charm. Definitely a leader in his field! His team is incredibly supportive as well, especially Paige. She consistently returns calls in a timely manner and full of knowledge and creative solutions. We used Schwarz Lewis on several occasions, the biggest of which was a massive remodel of our primary residence (almost doubled the size of the original home). Quite literally, we cannot speak more highly of them. They are very intent on listening to your needs, styles, and thoughts; and it translates precisely into their finished designs. My wife & I are horrible over-thinkers, and almost always want “just one more option” to compare to. But for the 1st time in our lives, we were certain that Brad, Paige and their team NAILED the design of our remodel on the first drawing (we literally had zero requested changes). I think that says a ton! I would, without hesitation, recommend you consider them for your next project. Their work as beautiful, and their professionalism (especially given what is usually a very stressful process - building) is extremely helpful and appreciated.

After much deliberation and interviewing several architectural firms, we chose Schwarz Lewis because of their sensitivity and desire to create more than just a home. We wanted an artistic eye with the knowledge to create a home with a soul. Brad listened and collaborated with us to create something we feel is truly unique and casual enough to live out our daily lives in. We love our home.
