Blind/curtain solutions

Hi! I need ideas! I have 3 doors (1 bifold and 2 triple stackers) that i need window dressings for. They are each about 3.2 metres long....I am wanting something a little different with an industrial vintage feel....I had an idea pulling down a piece of fabric on a pulley system - kind of like how a roll on a pianola works but really have no idea where to start or whether this can even be done... Maybe with leather straps that buckle it altogether when it's pulled up.....

Has anyone seen any awesome, fun ideas like this executed well?

Anything can be done, it's just a matter of cost. For a job that size, I would try a local makerspace if you have one of those in your city. Hopefully there will be an artisan of some kind who can help you with it.
Otherwise, maybe call a hipstery reclaimed furniture store and see if they know of a small business or artist who can make something for you.

I assume the windows abut in the corner? This would make it tricky to have romans as they would probably clash when both drawn up. Curtains drawing away from the corners add softness to a dining area, but make them floor length as short curtains look a bit half mast. It is also a good idea to have them wider than the windows to allow more light in when opened and fitted from above the window to elongate the window.

I would continue with frosted glass like the door on all the windows because the view of the other house. Not sure where you live, but you can get a frosted window film that you install yourself. In bedrooms and lounge, depending on your style, you might like a woven roman shade with silk drapes.
