Why don't solar panels come in triangles in Australia? Since most roofs have triangles in them somewhere, why don't solar panels come in triangles? Wouldn't it be neater, and a better use of Northerly space? Everywhere I go, I see rectangular panels on triangular roofs!

Yes! Make solar panels in triangles too!
No, I like rectangles.
I don't care, I prefer fossil fuel.
I never look up at roofs, or I might step in something smelly.

In some American and UK pictures I see some triangle panels, why don't I see them in use here?

Oh, I never thought about this. Could it be that they may look awkward on the inside of the house. They would make quite a visual statement that may only look good in a contemporary or modern space.

As a design element, I'm sure some people would prefer triangle panels- there could be a potential market to tap there Tribbletrek? What about round ones that look like the sun itself??? :-)

Why not? Though octagons would fit more on the roof.

The main thing is to fit as many panels as possible on the north side.
