Furnish a rental?

We are moving to a new place and will rent out the current one. I've a few pieces of furniture which are still in good condition (3-4 years) but which don't "go" with the new look, so I'm wondering if a semi-furnished rental would fetch more in rent? Or at least not deter tenants? I'm thinking sofa, large fridge and (maybe) a small dining table and chairs. Thoughts?
No, tenants prefer their own furniture
Yes a semi-furnished rental with fridge and sofa is a good idea

Aargh, I should have said "investment property" instead of "rental". Can't edit the post. I mean a property that I want to rent out, of course :)

I think it depends on the context - i.e if it was a central location, around university etc, it may be more appealing for someone who wants to rent/move out but doesn't have a lot to spend on furnishing.

A fridge, washing machine & dryer are great to have included, from a renter's perspective. A bed, with waterproof mattress protector is also an asset.
