Need help for my kitchen

Almost finished our snippy garage conversion, and the kitchen still awaits a splashback. Kitchen is just one wall, counter (with sink and cooktop) is 2.4 metres long, 75 cm high. We want to fill the space. Kitchen is all white with white stone countertop and we've chosen a bright red frig and small grill oven as highlights. We can't get excited about plain coloured glass (cost about $800) but using a proprietary image fitted to glass hikes the price to $2,220. Any clever ideas out there for an alternative that will be practical, not too kitchen-y and have a bit of wow factor? The style of the 100 square metre space is sort of urban/beach with pale white/driftwood laminate flooring, pale cream walls, beige and silver drapes, blinds, beige/grey sofa and light scandi-style timber coffee table and buffet. Open plan with large living area and a huge (3m x 2m) window at right angles to the kitchen wall with a gorgeous country view.
