Are you thinking a color or a different neutral. Is this a north, south, east or west facing room. Colors change according to their exposure. Do you have a favorite color? What colors do you have in adjoining rooms?
I was thinking about laying hardwood and perhaps grey on the walls, extending the curtain rod to cover the entire wall behind the bed?? The main living space is done in greens with the same wood tones seen here. I'd like something different in this room. The room is on the west side of the house.
A good place to start is thinking about how you want your room to feel - bright and fresh? Warm and cosy? Romantic? Pretty or masculine? Once you have figured that out its much easier to narrow down your colour choices and choose accessories to bring it to life.
