Hi - we are about to embark on a new kitchen - the dilemma I have is that the island is 3.7 m long and the engineered stone is only 3.2 m ... thus meaning either we have to have a join (I am told this is not a desirable option) or have an acrylic benchtop such as Tristone etc. Also, does anyone know how durable Designatek gloss would be?
