We're building a home and minor dwelling (for single grandparent) on a gently sloping (NW to SE) hectare on a quiet road in the country just out of the city. Our children are 20 and 22 and are not leaving home any time soon. We want everyone to be able to have their own space and we want them to be able to have small gatherings of friends without it cramping our style too much either. We love to cook elaborate meals and will sometimes have 3-6 people participating in the preparation/cooking/cleaning activities. We also love al fresco cooking and dining. There are (somewhat distant) neighbours to the east and north but the west just has bush on the boundary and the south looks over a small empty valley to more protected bush. There is a trio of mature trees to the SE of the proposed dwelling. Any and all feedback gratefully received (major and minor). I'll attempt to answer any questions I can. Are there things not shown that we should get clarification from the architects on? We're pouring all our hearts into this so we want to get it right. Thanks in advance
