Ideas for outdoor area
We are wanting to take out the window directly behind the swing and put in doors. These will lead out from the lounge. We would like to add a deck which will come right out to the end of the current paving. As its an extremely sunny area & to make the most of the space we hope that we might be able to put in louvres so that we can utilise the area summer and winter. Problem being that on the right hand side of the photo you can just see the gate which goes down the side of the house. This is where the gas bottles are. We cannot shift them. Ideally we would like to remove the raised garden by the fence and take the new deck right out to the fence. Obviously we will need to have a small ramp so that we can get the gas bottles in and out. No problem behind the gate, but I just cannot visualise what a small ramp would look like on the deck. Might have to hide it with a garden. Once again because its so hot an area we would like to pave the deck rather than wood. The area for the louvres is at least 5 mtrs x 4.4 (across). This comes just to the end of the house on the right hand side (by the gate) and to the end of the house on the left hand side. If we take the louvres right out to the fence its way more expensive as we would have to have two panels/motors.
We will need to replace and make the fence higher to give privacy from the neighbours.
Any suggestions to any of the above would be greatly appreciated.
