Kitchen splashback location - any thoughts?

Hi all, I'm in the process of trying to get a new splashback.... my new kitchen is U shaped, and I definitely know it needs to go behind the hob (as denoted by "A") and then thought it would go along and under the bay window on it's immediate left. My question is, do you think I should also splashback area "B" coming out of the corner towards the window? Would it look weird or good? There are no cabinets above area B. Still trying to figure out what material I'll use and cost/cut outs isn't really an issue, just want some thoughts on aesthetic/necessity/practicality from you all.

Please let me know if you think I should splashback A only, or A + B.

And if you want to chip in with thoughts on splashback colour/material, feel free :)

The wall paint is a beigey-pink called Dulux Castlepoint Half, the cabinets are white, the benchtop is black pearl granite.

Thanks in advance!
