What a fun space! Love the pillows...I agree with above, lower all the frames, but not so low little ones can reach. The art should fall at eye level about 5'4" for walls and for behind the sofa not more than 12" above it. Then keep the width about 5" inside the sofa length on each side. Your frames are small so you need the close together for impact. ~$400 including expedited shipping. My GC just had his regular countertop guy do them, which wasn't great.... he had trouble making clean cuts. If I were going to do it again I would have pressed for someone with expertise to cut them. You can see in the image that the facing is not made of the stone peak, because too much was broken during the cutting to make the mitered edge. I'm a little bummed, but mostly pleased with the surface (which is the important part) thus far.

I understand wanting to keep the views from as many rooms as possible. However, how much time is spent in the bedrooms? And is the view visible the majority of time one spends in the bedroom? Consider that the most restful, secure sleep is obtained when the bed is placed opposite the entry door. That is not possible in any of your current bedroom layouts. Perhaps you should consider single solid glass French doors or windows flanking the beds opposite the doors rather than the large windows you show on the plan. Choice of doors or windows would be based on accessibility to a deck. I assume bedroom 1 and the office/bedroom have built-in bunk beds. I think the deck between the family and bedroom 3 seems inaccessible and a bit of a waste, and I wonder how one gets outside from the kitchen with the trash, etc. Do you have no plans to garage the vehicles?

House in process of build. Dilemma about what to use instead of tiling walls. Came across a thread which suggested running the floor tiles up the vanity wall to create a feature. However I am not having a tiled floor but laminate planks with the label claiming100% waterproof flooring. Has anyone done this with flooring? I definitely do not want tiled walls. A number of queries..... 1. would the flooring still be affixed on the wall as the floor? 2. Would I take it to the ceiling...... so below and above wall hung vanity and above mirror? 3. Since I would not use this to feature the bath in the same room. What do you suggest I put here? The bath is a 1700 long btw/corner. I have never seen baths without some form of splash back? But I don’t want tiles.
