Need advise on carpet choice
Comments (4)We've had berber in our last two houses and it wears like steel. The first house we sold after seven years and the carpet looked perfect. We used the same carpet in our new house. We have eight year old twins. Below is a link to what I am pretty sure is the carpet we used. You are probably going to need something a little darker than we picked to have a bit of contrast with your white flooring. There are quite a few colors to pick from. http://www.carpet-wholesale.com/item_83813/Rolls_Of_Carpet/Queen/Lucida/Pearl_Bead.php...See MoreCan you use two different carpets in a house?
Comments (4)Absolutely no problem changing up the carpet. Things to watch for......make the transition in a doorway, an opening or along a visual break in the rooms (like the corners of the walls). I would stay in the same colour range, but just go to the other end of the spectrum rather than change the colour completely.....like light grey going to dark grey, not light grey going to navy blue. You want the separation but an easy transition on the eyes....See MoreHow do I remove this off my floor!
Comments (9)Thanks everyone for the warnings. Honestly I had not thought that could be possible so just in case I'll gear up with a mask to avoid inhaling any of it. I will still need to remove it, but from what I read the problem with asbestos is if you sand it and make it into breathable particles, so ripping it out should be ok. I've looked up in youtubr and there seems to be a tool called mastic remover that you can put on your floor sander and it would scratch the surface removing any of that stuff....See MoreI need help in my living area
Comments (12)Hey! Great space! The table is too small for the space, it would immediately help if you had head chairs on either end of the table. It would read larger. If you're interested in a new dining set, try a round dining table, seating at least 6 for size. You need something to define each space, a new furniture arrangement could help. I would try rotating the sectional so that its off of the window. Good Luck!...See Moresiriuskey
