Help with choosing a kitchen spashback
Comments (21)I think we are going to use the white subway tile to keep the budget down as I priced new tiles and it would blow out the budget. Really like the contrast grout idea to add a bit of texture and pattern. My partner is a builder and he loves the reclaimed wood shelf idea as we have a lot of spear old wood left over from the renovation. We have made a dinning table and fire place mantel from it already so it would tie in really well....See MoreNeed help with kitchen design
Comments (11)Here's a couple of ideas that work really well as alternatives to a walk in pantry. They integrate into your wall cabinetry, allowing you to keep central spaces open and free flowing. Using drawers to create a pantry as Esselai suggests. Check out how Harn Triomax soft close drawers are used in just this way. Availble in classic white or metallic grey. Two front to back depth options - 500mm and 5500mm. And 8 drawer width options from 450mm to 1200mm. Alternatively, there are a number of quality pull out pantry options in the German designed and made Vauth-Sagel range. Some are installed with fixed fronts to match your cabinetry, and others are installed behind hinged doors. See below (from top to bottom) the VSA model, DUSA model and HSA model. These all come in a variety of width options and specs, from chromed wire shelves to sold bases with glass panelling....See MoreKitchen design for new build
Comments (0)We are in the process of doing up plans for a new build and I have changed around the kitchen layout as I felt in the original one, the scullery was too cramped and not big enough for a working area. Question - has anyone got a similar layout to top plan, which is the newer one? If so, does it work? Would love to hear from you! We do a lot of entertaining so want a plenty of room to move in kitchen! The area along from island bench, on wall, is a bar area. Thanks...See MoreWhich layout would you choose with the sloped ceiling?
