This client always wanted a solid wood kitchen but restraints at the time when renovation was being completed meant this wasn’t possible. Plain melteca fronts were fitted to plywood cabinets. When the timing was right for our client they approached The Woodsmiths seeking a company that could transform their kitchen with solid wood fronts.

This kitchen is found in a fully renovated villa on a country farm near Pakiri Beach.

American Black Walnut was chosen by our client to match other components in the villa and needed to be of the highest quality and clear of any defects. The mouldings needed to also match others used throughout the interior. Scalloped brass pulls were to be reused. All drawers were replaced with handmade hardwood ply boxes on Blum softclose movento runners.

End result… beautiful warm, attractive and functional kitchen which our client was very pleased with.
