Comments (1)I think floor to ceiling tiles in a small bathroom can look quite nice. You may want to think about using a combination of tiles to add more interest and texture to the room....See Morewashing area in bathroom
Comments (9)It will be a very tight fit, but if you purchase a prefabricated - very small shower - it might work. The shower would have to be 36" wide with a corner entry, but I don't know how much room you have next to the toilet......? It's tight. so I am not sure about the width of the shower. You will have to measure the space. The stacking washer and dryer would be freestanding next to the shower at 24" wide. I agree that it would be better to have a tight bathroom and have more room in the kitchen....See MoreBest bathroom layout for my first house? Help please!
Comments (14)We have a 900x900 shower and it's plenty big enough. Neither of your proposed layouts looks that great, to be perfectly honest, sorry! In the first layout, you could improve it quite a lot by swapping the toilet and vanity (centre the toilet under the window on the bottom right of the picture if possible), and having the shower door on the other wall (beside the door). Then, you could have a towel rail on the wall beside the door (i.e. behind the door when it's open), which would be accessible from the shower but hidden when the door was open. An 800x1200 shower might be a good size for your space. You'd have to choose a toilet that doesn't protrude too far, plus a narrow vanity. With that layout, you could have a long but narrow wall-hung vanity, with a big mirror covering the wall between the windows, which would make the room feel bigger and would give a good amount of storage. Comments (0)Hi All, We are updating our bathrooms and I need to choose the color of the tiles around the vanity, shower and bath (including wall and bath boxing). One of the bathrooms has dark brown ceramic tiles, timber ceiling and brown timber wainscoting. The other two bathrooms have brown timber floors and neutral colored walls/ceiling. The light in all bathrooms is low to medium. I have chosen white vanity tops, with white basins and chrome taps. Do you think it would be too much white if all the tiles were white? Is there such a thing as too much white? Also what type of tiles are the easiest to install? Thanks...See MoreAus Joinery Kitchens Pty Ltd
