I am on another dilemma and would love to hear your suggestions.

We want to build an outdoor kitchen in our alfresco area, but because there isn’t a wall to install a rangehood it will cost a lot more to have an island rangehood (coming from the ceiling).

The options we seem to have:

• Do not install a rangehood (which can make the alfresco uncomfortable with all the smoke
• Build a wall to install it (not sure about how expensive this will be, we will start quoting for this now)
• Install it from the ceiling (approx. 3k extra including installation)

I cannot think of any other options. Anything you can think of that could help us resolve this in the most cost effective way?

Below is a photo of where the bench will be. It wont take the entire alfresco side as we want to leave a bit of a gap to access the other side (where we are planning to have a couple of chairs and a firepit.
