Lilyfield House named FINALIST IN THE 2019 SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS - We feel greatly honoured to receive this rewarding recognition.
ESD is an important aspect of the good environmental performance of a house. However, Lilyfield House also interacts with and owes to its 16m tall and wide deciduous backyard tree, which gives shade and greatly improves its surrounding microclimate in a landscape of urban heat islands predominant in Sydney’s Inner West. We would like to remind of the IMPORTANCE OF OUR URBAN FOREST and the necessity to protect and increase it.
