do you plan have door height windows/doors in the living room and the bedroom?...if you make the living room windows three matching sections wide and the bedroom window two sections wide the inidividual panes could be the same or similar size regardless of how high the whole window is but widening the opening in the wall is a very expensive option and strongly suggest that you obtain quotes for enlarging the openings compared to replacing the windows in the existing openings or bigger openings to have a better idea of the difference in costs .... window manufacturers can help you plan how to achieve the best look but even when the inidividual panes are exactly the same size they will look different fom different angles like this

Love the idea of a white house with black windows--good choice. Enlarging the living room window is a great idea. When you choose which window design you want, the 2 windows will complement each other.

Thanks for the advise. The imagine really helped. My husband has some builder friends that will do the job of enlarging the window I’m the living room. I’ve made the decision of only making the living room window larger. I made a sketch on my phone and i think it looks alright. Anyone disagree? The panes are almost the same size. But I guess because the bedroom comes out they looks bigger.

conside the number of panes in each window as 5 vertical panes (each about 40cm tall) in a door height window may feel better than 3 vertical panes(about 70cms tall) in a life sized example and keeping the bedroom window size original makes good sense btw your image looks excellent and the addition of the tree makes it look so much more realistic
