Splashback or no splashback?
We have just put in a new vanity but have mixed opinions on the basin mixer position.
There is a 'marble' backsplash available if we want to use it but if we do there is not enough room at the back of the bowl for the mixer so this would put it off centre. OR we don't use the backsplash and just keep to the tiles and the mixer can then go in the centre behind the basin. There are mirrored doors on the cabinet. Don't want to change the style of mixer as it matches all the other spouts/mixers etc. What do you think?

Comments (5)Thanks Geoff, that’s a good point! We will paint the walls a white with slight grey to it, do you think a white splashback would work? We were thinking black to match the cooktop but also show off the benchtop. 4 years agoThank you everyone. After much angst have gone with centered. You don't rally notice the off centre doors as the shaving cabinet doors are centered. Is easy to use and can clean around it OK.

4 years agolast modified: 4 years agoA great choice for the basin, the tap seems difficult to turn on and off, thus I would probably go for something different like the three choices below.
My Vote is off-center no splashback, however, I would increase the off-center to make it easier to reach for children and the elderly.
