A cream slip cover on your chairs, a different style of lighting , keep your furnishings light to create a serene Hamptons look, love your plant pot.

Are you going for a Hamptons look or a more coastal look or even boho coastal? All possible with your house. I ask because your pretty feather light isn’t really Hamptons. Either way you need to finalise your ideas for furniture layout and all the lighting for the open plan area BEFORE you head off and do the fun stuff like buying and styling.

The feather light is going to require weekly cleaning to keep it looking good. It doesn’t really go with the theme. Where are you located? Your current themes don’t feel representative of you - just going by your positing. Could you please give all who are caring enough trying to guide you as to possibilities;
Where are you? How big is family, if kids, ages? Do you entertain frequently? Does life evolve around the kitchen? Are you a compulsive house cleaner??
A plan of all the house and its orientation would assist greatly.

As you have many posting, for me it is very hard to put all into a complete picture of what you are wanting.

I love a bit of boho myself. I think you may be leaning towards modern coastal which will work with your house. Your white walls and floors are great. Keep any cabinetry white and classic in design. Use traditional styled faded vintage rugs. Keep the majority of furniture classic. Then you can add personality with a few pieces you really love, in your case it may be lights and accent chairs. Do you have any family or vintage pieces you love?

The physical structure of your house lends itself to nantucket style. Much more boho/beachy meets the casual lifestyle of 21st century. It cheerful and with the warmth of a welcoming family home.

Some possibilities

I actually like almost everything that is there , as a basis .

Initially , I'd only change 2 things -- the wall light above the sideboard looks wrong -- get something in the gold ( as there's not too much wrong with the main centre light as a starting point ) BUT I'd get one that curves up then out and down . The existing , or a similar , shade obviously ties in with the centre light .

And on a previous thread , I suggested a large abstract painting ( not a print -- you want to see the thickness of the paint ) in the entrance area -- it would need a similar one on the wall behind the table and below the stairs , but this one with more blues and teals and greens , with a bit of red and yellow and orange -- whereas the entrance one would want to be predominately the brighter colours .

The blue and white stripes suit , and add a casual but classical look -- an abstract painting with a bit of colour would add . There you go -- additional budget well under $1000 ! What room do you want done next haha . . . . . . . .

I can’t imagine finished room without a rug so I would suggest a rug of right proportions and different light choice. The light fixture you like would be appropriate for bedroom.

I love the idea of changing the light fixture to your feathered one and softening the table with a bench seat and adding peacock chairs. All that is that uncluttered boho leaning towards Hamptons look that I too love. I personally would get rid of the other chairs and add some rustic timber ones or even those cream ones that Julie Herbet put up.
Don't be frightened to go with your taste. And don't stress too much about what style it is. You have some good ideas, build on those and you will end up with a lovely warm and welcoming area that people love and you enjoy.
I believe we need to inject some personality into our designing and decorating. Without that we can end up with show room perfect but souless rooms.

I think that the style you are looking for could be paired with rattan chairs, light wood finishes and gold details, such as ornaments. The two photos attached, display this sort of style that is coastal elegance.

I agree with the comments about the light fixture. Too fiddly and would be a nightmare to keep clean. I do think the Hampton’s look would really suit by be careful with the bench seat as really uncomfortable as no back. I like the idea of cane chairs but not so sure about something as big as peacock chairs. You could skip cover some chairs and add 2 statement cane chairs as end chairs. A large cane or several different sized cane light fittings above the table would add cohesion to the look

I agree that the feather light fitting looks pretty but would not be practical. Feathers collect dust and they slowly disintegrate.

Hi everyone- love the idea of Hamptons to suit the space. Chalk paint the legs of the table in white & change the table top to driftwood. A bench seat dz nothing for conversation so plz check out the ikea catalogue or all the different styles of chairs. As long as they r no more than 3 styles & r the same colour (white) it will match. The light needs to b a simple design. Work out wot the focus of ur room is b4 u buy the art work. Rug will tie it together if neutral for Hamptons style. Love the suggestions by flossumpossum.
