It does look a bit odd. I’d paint everything that is a light colour the same dark colour as the garage door.

Thanks for your advise I have always thought darker but the garage door is Ironstone to, do you think it might be too much?

I actually like it as it gives it a fresh look. But what you think is more important. Maybe try something like shale, Hard to tell from a photo, you need to try some samples.

Paint garage bulk head same as door, white post at front door the same and to match the cross beam. Gutter and Fascia same white as upper wall colour. excuse attempt to add white internal shutters.

Agree with Siriuskey, bulkhead should match garage door. Down pipe on upper level match wall. Start there.

Mardi, on my screen your colours look completely different with your two different photos. In one the brickwork looks like a cool charcoal colour, and the other a much warmer, dark brown. It is really hard to be accurate with colour suggestions when the starting point is so inaccurate.

Have you considered engaging a Dulux Colour Consultant who can vist you and organise paint samples?

It's a lovely house have you considered adding additional deck out over the garage and would you have a view for BBQ and table with pergola? cheers

Thanks so much everyone for your advise, now I look at it and the light part above the garage door does stand out too much and the post. The photos do look a different color but the one at the top is probably mo accurate % one taken with a camera and one with an iPhone. I’ll paint the post and other part and take another picture . Thanks again everyone.

Is the painter doing the upstairs down pipe and guttering,going by your photo the fence could have a coating of the dark colour. So pleased that you are loving it so far.

The downpipe and gutter is going to be in the color for the top when I decide what color to use. The fence is my job when I get a minute.
