Sunland Group building defects

Rowan Anderson

Recently moved into a property built by Sunland Group which didn't even have roof insulation (left in rolls in the roof), kitchen bench was not aligned to the house, LAN/phone/TV ports not correctly wired, and a lot of wear and tear.

Contacted Sunland Group who didn't want to take responsibility so will be contacting the Fair Trading next.

Looks like just another developer trying to make quick profits at the cost of the customer. How are these builders getting building certificates for their properties?

    Hi Rowan,

It is a pity, but you can find too many cases like this one in everywhere. Generally the authorities don´t take responsibility about the product. It is the company. So the only defence for the buyer is to assure that all the tests of the Quality Control during the whole project have been done from the developer or better by an external Quality Control auditor, as our service.

    Regards.
