sheers would look excellent hung high and wide above the top and sides of the arched windows (use one wide curtain for two arched windows) for the bedroom and, do you have a good view from the living area windows that need the curtains to be drawn aside during the day? if so, pinch pleated lined drapes, hung high above the windows (about 1/3 the distance down from ceiling to top of the window frame would be ideal height for curtain track) and wide enough for the curtain to be drawn completely away from glass otherwise sheers with matching privacy blinds hung inside the reveal, from door height and leaving the arch exposed same as the blinds in the photo for all the windows

Thank you oklouise! I definitely like the idea of using one wide curtain for 2 of the windows. I think we may have to do privacy blinds in the guest room as well as the sheers but for the lounge room we will just do the sheers.

Curtains with pelmets (including hidden pelmets, plantation shutters, honeycomb blinds just to name a few alternatives. Curtains to go to the floor and into the walls at the side, blinds fitting tightly within a window frame, possibly utilising tracks.
