I have finally had a flower bed made under my dog trees. My backyard is south facing. What shall I plant under these trees? There is a lot of leaf droppage underneath and they are in shade under the trees.
We underplanted our ornamental pears with viburnum ‘Emerald lustre’ I just love this plant, it withstands all weather conditions and always looks great with shiny lush foliage, I would add a watering system so your trees and hedge don’t compete for water and it saves you time also.
Thank you Sarah, I love your trees , they are beautiful and I think the viburnum would look fabulous under them, it’s such a lush looking plant and would compliment them beautifully.
