we need dimensions of all the rooms and it would be better to have a whole house plan to be able to see how the bedrooms relate to the rest of the house and is this the same house you were working on a few years ago?

Yes it is! Good memory! We ended up finishing all the other rooms/outside of house, after everyone’s excellent ideas on here and now up to the final few rooms. It’s been a big job doing it all ourselves 😅 ok are the measurements on the pic too small or are there not enough on there?

Not knowing your home, so going by your plan.
So the larger doorways marked in the bedrooms, are not doors to another part of the house, but doors to balconies?
And by your plan there appears to be no wall between the main bedroom and ensuite. Is that correct?

this plan doesn't show the existing rooms or the dimensions in both direction so would be so much easier if you could measure the existing rooms and hand write the lengths of the walls on your coloured plan in readable print and, if you plan to remove the old wardrobes and bathroom fixtures, the dimensions should be of the whole room from brick wall to brick wall ignoring any built ins

Ok, the measurements on the coloured plan ignore any built-in‘s and are from brick to brick, I will see if I can make those measurements easier to see 👍🏻

the main issue with the ens is the big window.. you could reverse the toilet and shower space but the shower towel rails wouldn't be so convenient and the potential wet floor in front of the shower is better away from the vanity, the generous bath space is not suitable for more than a small free standing bath so i've included a built in bath that can take advantage of the whole space, there's an enclosed toilet, generous shower and double vanity and room for a stacked wm and dryer and/or underbench washer and sink but taking space away from the ens for the extra wardrobe improves the bedroom but makes the ens too skimpy for the bath and laundry

We are open to relocating windows as well. Sorry I should have said that.

Wow that design is amazing oklouise!!! I love it. Looking at the area how it is now it is so hard to envision how it could be. Your design is excellent t.

with careful waterproofing and tiling there should be no reason to change the big window and a simple venetian blind or frosted glass can add privacy
