Can you use exposed agg to infill a gatic style cover on a driveway?

The rest of the driveway is exposed agg, but the concreter was saying you need to use normal concrete to infill a gatic style cover which sits on top of a detection pit. Sounds odd to me as it would not look good.

Can someone confirm this?

Thanks in advanced.

you may find that the gatic has to meet certain strict regulations and may only be available in plain concrete so i suggest that you contact the makers of the standard gatics for advice about a custom made product and/or consider painting the standard gatic in a paving paint to match the aggregate..
