Before & After: A mould-ridden bathroom

The client brief was to strip out existing ensuite as there was a leak occurring somewhere that creating an increasing growth of mold and Mushrooms forming out of the floor! The solid jarrah floors were cupping and bowing, so something drastically was happening behind the walls.

When Azztek started to strip out we found the copper pipes had split internally – too which is a common wear and tear property; using copper pipes after 30 years of being in situ.

Whilst designing the Ensuite area, the client requested sliding Mirror Doors supplied by M&B Sales; instead of swinging doors. This has helped the client get into the Ensuite and wardrobes areas and given them functionality, of making the space user friendly.

The extra over height toilet suite and grab rails is also a new standard we are using for Clients over 55 years of age, making the Ensuite an easier space to utilise.

This Bathroom Renovation took a Total of 12 Working Days to Complete.

Great renovation, congrats on the job being well done. The hodge podge of colours being transformed into a visibly cohesive look is awesome.

Big improvement but would have liked to see a Barn Door system used to update the look of the doors, even a deeper bulk head instead of that old style pelmet and agree with kate that wall between the doorways needs to be painted

Bathroom looks good but not changing the doors has let it down.

The doors have been changed to what the client wants. (Previously hinged doors - see before photos)
