Our forever house. Main bedroom has an ensuite, but no bath. Two teens bedrooms currently sharing a family sized bathroom. This bathroom needs renovating and can easily be converted to have two ensuites ( each 2600 x 1600). This will result in 4 bedrooms and 4 ensuites...none with a bath. Your thoughts on whether a bath is a must have?Layout thoughts

So when you have visitors would they have to enter the bedrooms to go to the bathroom?? Is there a toilet in the bathroom or a separate toilet somewhere else in the home.?

Guests will use one bathroom - which I call and ensuite but its actually stand alone...just near the spare bedroom. I can also add a powder room near the two new ensuites. Layout - thoughts?

Majority of clients still ask for a bath to be included. It seems to be a lot want a bath in ensuite and one in bathroom.

A bath is a bit of luxury item now so it may only be used once or twice per week at best.

Sorry family house needs at least one bath. We may not need ours often now kids are teenagers but my 16 yo still has them sometimes as does my 18 yo son and when you come home after a hard day riding it’s a godsend. Not to mention a future young family.

We are building our so called forever home (with a granny flat), we have added a bath in the granny flat (a luxury) not because we are bath people but future proofing for a young family.
