Also consider trying to like flip the design as bedrooms on the west get super hot, so good to avoid where possible

I quite like a few of there’s. It all depends on your block, size, slope views? All these reasons make an architect 100% worth it

The garage door is facing north in the drawing. 21m front on the property that we can build on. Depth won’t be an issue for boundaries but every metre we go backwards into the block is less for the backyard.

Why do you need a "back yard"?
Why not make the centre of the block the back yard, have a C shaped home with minor bedrooms on the east, and one big centre "back yard".

So plan is upside down if we want north to top of page. Some nice wide verandahs down west side and if possible bedrooms to east
