Bathroom ensuite and master bedroom

Hi, unfortunately we had to gut-out our ensuite bathroom and upstairs master bedroom to start again (due to waterproofing issue in ensuite causing on-going water leaks into master bedroom through wall and bedroom carpet). It has been a nightmare!

It is a small ensuite so not sure whether we can design it differently. At this stage will just be replacing everything old for new. Just throwing it out there if anyone who has an eye for design thinks we can/should change the layout...

Also we are thinking of putting in a new wardrobe along other side of master bedroom by moving the wall between bedroom 3 and master (making master bedroom a little bigger and bedroom 3 smaller to fit wardobe in master bed)..

If you can swap the toilet to the outside wall in en-suite that may allow a slightly bigger vanity. With bed 3 if that will be a study you could take space for master wardrobe. I note you really do need the extra master robe. If you are happy with only one bedroom on that level, maybe change the bathroom up their to a powder room and enlarge the en-suite.

how do you use bed 3 now? if the room is not being used for sleeping why not keep the wall intact and use bed 3 as a generous walk in wardrobe or, given the budget, i would sacrifice the small dining area for a much more generous master ensuite, powder room and wiw something like this ..

Add colour . Please add colour haha . Just a thought though , instead of paint ( its a bit hard for me to visualise everything from your description -- I am a visual person ) how about maybe those translucent blue looking tiles ( yes , I know , extra cost ) , you may even 'frame' them in the white tiles to tie in with the shower , or possibly do the blue instead of the white , or even do the shower in them , and have the rest your 'white' walls . And when I say about those tiles , you can get them in square or subway or even long skinny ones , or even long and skinny but with long skinny darker blue and brushed ali ones too -- in other words , have fun and add interest !

Would it be more cost effective to leave shower and toilet where they are… or would it cost much more to swap them over? Another idea was to build shower outside the floor plan and go under the eaves… could this be done? Thank you
