Bringing a Family Home Into the 21st Century
Elite Additions
This home was stripped back to the bare bones, except for some of the wood paneling and the brickwork, with the vision of bringing it into the 21st Century.
These clients had previously designed a large scale extension that they had quotes from other builders for over 1.2mil, which was way out of their budget. They Contacted Elite Additions with their design and build service and asked what they could do to their home on a budget of 650k.
We worked with the clients together to create a home that they love by allowing natural light in which was done by opening it up, to create an open plan kitchen dining and living all in one. As this was a large home there was still plenty of room for a separate living area to be included in the design.
We also included:
- New carpets, timber floors, large windows, and automatic blinds.
- A full kitchen renovation with deluxe stone benchtops and high-end appliances.
- Modernised bathrooms, which include master ensuites and walk-in & built-in robes for lots of
storage.
- Covered alfresco area/decking for entertaining.
- Ducted Reverse style Aircon.
- Teen Retreat - to provide a breakout space for the growing family.
- Double garage with workman's area.
The final product is a stylish masterpiece but also functionality for the family's lifestyle but in a designer setting, which now boasts spacious living and multiple alfresco entertaining areas complemented by serene surrounds.
