Hi - we are going to renovate our kitchen. I’m interested in the idea of downdraft extraction as I don’t want to distract from the kitchen view and scenery. It would be fitted to an external wall in the house.

Honest feedback please! Do they do the job better or worse than ceiling or cupboard mounted ones in terms of removing cooking odours and fats. Maintenance?? Cleaning??
