Our client approached us with an exciting renovation project in Randwick, NSW. The renovation will focus on providing them with a more functional and spacious ensuite, a new bedroom and ensuite for family and friends with separate access, and a suave new bar to entertain friends and family or to serve as a place to unwind at the end of the day.

There were many moving parts in this renovation, so we met with the client many, many times on-site with our Architect and Construction Manager to make sure all elements of the project ran smoothly. As renovation specialists, our focus was on the quality of the result to achieve the high-end finish our client was after. This meant, due to COVID-19, we experienced some delays along the way for materials like the copper-clad bench for the bar, the custom copper sink and the bespoke tiles, but compromising on these was not an option.

While it may have taken a little longer than usual to arrive, the wait was well worth it. We can’t imagine this classy space without those copper finishes and neither could our client.

In addition to these works, we have also included a laundry space in the kitchen and have improved the outdoor shower area with some customisations.

Our client now has a self-watering water tank! Attached to this are about 42 pots with newly-planted seeds for herbs, spices, and fruits like strawberries. In our opinion, this makes the nurturing process easy even if you don’t consider yourself a green thumb.

The outdoor shower also features the same copper detailing as the bar, a custom honeycomb shower screen for privacy, and high-quality, one-of-a-kind outdoor tiling with sustainable decking materials.

Even with minor delays, the project still finished on-time, on-budget and exceeded our client’s expectations. The finishes and custom pieces tied everything together to create a space with distinct zones which still feels unified and luxurious.
