Yes , go as crisp and clean a white as you can for the roof , and any colour except grey for walls ( in most states , it will soon be against the law to use grey , in much the same way as mission brown was outlawed after the 80's haha ) .

If you are worried about 2 shades of white , it is simply a constant reminder that you should have done your walls in a colour haha . Make up for it by adding tasteful furniture , colourful cushions , a bright abstract artwork , and bright coloured vases , or expect the cops to come a-knocking . . . . . . . . . . .

two (or more) shades of white look great together we have Antique White USA for walls, white for ceiling and gloss white for doors, architraves and skirting and Antique White gloss for painted ceiling height wardrobe doors but keep in mind even if you painted every surface in exactly the same colour and finish it will still look different depending on direction and amount of light and other furnishings in the rooms...walls and ceiling the same colour can be great for DIY painters with less cutting in but a white ceiling and cornice will look great with any wall colour

Just do all the joins with light blue lines maybe 8mm wide , and fading into richer darker blue right on each corner .

It will look like the inside of an esky . . . . . . . . .

Antique white from Dulux antique white USA. Trims currently are in the same Antique white.

You said the trims are in Antique White ? Personally I always try and do the window surrounds and skirtings in crisp white , along with the ceiling . No real reason except thats how I like it .

Mind you , there is no way I'd ever have grey or buttery beige walls , just because , and I've never done antique white either -- I suspect I would repaint if I bought a place with most walls in antique white -- in fact , I'd be tempted to do 1 wall with wallpaper , and something like burnt orange and white or pastel yellow ; or grape and gold swirls ; or maroon stripes and antique white ; or something to add some Wow .

Everyone is different though .
