Comments (24)Oh so cool you noticed that we're trying to achieve a french country/industrial look or did we write that somewhere? I've attached some other photos of a bedroom and the foyer (of those we've taken so far), but are absolutely open to suggestions on a "beachy" feel as well or instead of. Although because its a beach house we don't want to go over board on expense and hence keeping what we already have, and just adding personality to it, if you get what we mean. Kingsize Black upholstered headboard to come in that bedroom....See MoreKitchen redesign ideas needed

Comments (0)So we have finally decided on a kitchen design: Taken inspiration from : this is the floor plan. The dinning area will be moved to next to the steps, in front of the alfresco area. The family room will be in front of the kitchen with another outdoor area next to it. But dilemma not is that we cannot decide on plain cabinet doors or shaker style. The colour of the doors will be Satin White with black knobs matching the black granite sink and charcoal glass splash back. The bench top will most likely be something similar to Calcutta Quartz. I like the modern simplicity of plain doors but i don't want it to look too clinical. I like how shaker style adds a bit of character to the whole area, but i don't want it to look too traditional. What do you think? Any other style suggestions?...See MoreBathroom dilemma
Comments (1)Hi Emily, This does seem quite extreme for such a small renovation. I recommend that you investigate getting a CCTV inspection done. They will put a camera down the closest manhole and follow the pipe along. Make sure if you do this, you ask the CCTV drain inspectors to locate the drain for you and place pegs on site. You may be able to find a solution from there. Second option is to re-look at the floor plan to establish if there is a better place to relocate the toilet without needing another gully trap. 2.5 bathrooms is quite generous so for resell it may not be necessary, although there may be other alterations you could do to improve circulation, flow and functionality. Good luck with your renovations....See Morebigreader
