We need pics and a floor plan. Hand drawn is fine but include measurements.

Some general tips...

• Lighting installed under the upper cabinets is more useful than just lights over the hob.
• With regards to ventilation are you going to run the extractor fan to the side of the building or are you on the top floor with no units above?
• Thats a massive fridge, hope you have a massive apartment.
• Without handles makes it easier to clean the cupboard fronts but soft closers aren't cheap and will significantly add to the costs. People usually choose handles out of budget concerns.

You'd also really need info on what the apartment style is , your budget , etc . No real point putting a $100k kitchen with bespoke copper fittings and hand rubbed marble tops into a 1 bedroom motel ( 'bedsit' ) apartment , or a shiny black piano finish into a colonial or industrial style apartment . Keep it believable and achievable -- THEN you work out the details .

Its a new apartment so it will what we want it to be and is 4 room apartment around 100 m2 in total.

We have internal circulation,there is no provision to throw the air out.I have seen some kitchen tops with air extraction .Does that work as good as a hob ?

Thats a great drawing Prachi, can you add the dimensions for the whole living dining spaces,The kitchen floor is tiled? what does the rest of the open living space have. How many floors are there in the building and which floor are you on. Are there any external walls apart from the terrace

Yes ,kitchen will be tiled and the other space will have parquet flooring.Our appt is on ground floor and the terrace opens into a small garden.There are 3 more floors above our appt.The whole living,kitchen dining area is around 37m2 .I can add more pics if that helps.

Dimensions not m2 are needed and extra photos are always helpful, and any other walls apart from the terrace that are external,ie not joined to other apartments.

Galley style. Sink on fridge on top wall with overhead cupboards to ceiling above sink make this bench 650 deep.
Pantry narrow depth say 350, full height along side wall between the two benches. Allow the the bench potentially to overhang into the dining for a breakfast bar. So maybe 800deep

It’s a small kitchen so knobs handles or no handles is really up to your preference

The wall is like a normal wall (upto ceiling)with an opening in between just for light to pass through to the hallway.

Only the text in the photo is in German,rest the dimensions are mentioned in black.Which dimensions would you like to know specifically?

I'm having trouble working everything out here , looking at the bigger picture , and by the questions that have been asked , so is everyone else .

Its an unusual shape , and then you said it is 4 rooms and 100 sq mtr . Then the plan shows 3 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms , a kitchen and a living area and dining . So is it 4 rooms , 4 bedrooms -- I can't understand sorry . No laundry ?

Then I can't work out why you have 2 bathrooms , but neither are accessible from a bedroom -- a full ensuite or a connecting door . Personally , I would have wanted the bathroom on the same side as the 3 bedrooms to be either between the Master and Bed 2 , or an ensuite for the Master .

And I'll echo siriuskeys query -- unless you are buying shell-only , I've never heard of a place where you 'supply' the kitchen , and even slightly stranger , you say the developer is supplying tiles . I would have thought either you choose and supply everything , or they do . And even if they supply , surely there would be adjustments to the price -- if you want genuine marble and they normally supply $5 Bunnings ones , you'd think they'd be a bit flexible , and say 'certainly , that will be $7k more or $3k less or whatever ?

I understand the confusions. I am in Europe and this is how it works in Europe.You buy your own Kitchen and rest is provided by the builde.Also in Europe you count the rooms irrespective whether its bedroom or not,so yes in total 4 rooms.We would have also liked an attached bath but did not have a lot of choice as its a multi-storey appt with more than one house on one floor.

But my questions are only related to the kitchen.

When planning an interior room it's important to have a better picture of what there is to work with so as to get the best outcome, ie: asking for dimensions of the living dining, perhaps you would be best to post on Houzz in Europe as they will have a better understanding of what is required,

Pottsy99, yes it does sound strange but having worked with a Danish company, it's common to supply your own kitchen and it's quite often taken with you when you move, ie: Ikea cabinets

Hello Prachi, I am designer in Melbourne Australia but I think we all need similar things in a good workable kitchen: benching, storage, space for preparation, serving, socializing and clean up. I would go with two straight runs: wall backing bathroom: left to right: DW, sink pantry and fridge so children can get a drink without interrupting cooking. The other long bench with cabinets 600mm deep and the bench overhang for stools. By the wall near the bedrooms put stove with cook top and oven under with the remainder bench for prep, serving, kids homework cups of tea and coffer, breakfast etc. You could swap the stove with DW and sink if you feel it would be safer. I hope this helps you. It is a small space but will not be expensive to build as it is simple (which is usually the best!) and will be a very workable kitchen with plenty of storage, benching, specific areas for cleanup and open to the apartment.
