Smart tv frame colour?

Do you have one, (or seen one being used ) and what colour frame looks good,
Thoughts?
(Might be against a white wall, or might be triple black white Resene, not sure)

We ordered one... Suppose to come march, but u know how things are here.

Got 50" frame tv

And a 40" Panasonic, not framed, for $3400

Its hubbies thing for the new house.

That's all he wanted, so not sure if that's a good deal or what... He said it was.

I was happy with any TV.

But will prob do white frame, as Marino walls (milky white) and have expensive monet pic on it

I think the brown and beige will age quickly , and are too gimmicky . Having said that , I'd go for the white , BUT I have grape and dark duck egg and burnt orange walls haha . Against a white wall I'd probably go the black , but then looking at my main TV here , personally I'm more likely to go with a almost frameless TV in black or aluminium , but that's just me .

This may sound hypocritical -- I don't like Apple products ( or philosophy or pricing haha ) but in my office several years ago I changed all our grey and black framed monitors for 32" white ones ( and piano gloss black wireless keyboards ) because you know my views on boring -- but ironically it looks like we do use Apple products . I'm probably too OCD , but we had probably 10 or more different brands and styles and sizes of monitors -- we ( well , me haha ) wanted to look more planned and maybe edgy , so went for what was probably overkill , but we still have and use them .

Need timeless...so maybe black or white.

Oh so cool you noticed that we're trying to achieve a french country/industrial look or did we write that somewhere? I've attached some other photos of a bedroom and the foyer (of those we've taken so far), but are absolutely open to suggestions on a "beachy" feel as well or instead of. Although because its a beach house we don't want to go over board on expense and hence keeping what we already have, and just adding personality to it, if you get what we mean. Kingsize Black upholstered headboard to come in that bedroom.

The wall opposite the couch could hold the TV - would need to mount it on the wall and that would take a while as we would need to get someone in to do it (I love my husband but he's not the handiest). Where the photo was taken is a three seat couch, so couches are in an L shape.

Oh I have not even touched the surface of fabrics that are available and beautiful. But, best to qualify further if you are recovering or buying new chairs before we get too excited or caught up in the beauty of the products. I love fabrics and the chemistry and technology that goes into modern day fabrics would astound most people. I'm not even talking about the residential fabrics like the Robert Allen collection I showed you. I'm talking about the fabrics for the hospitality and medical care industry. Now if you are interested in MODERN look fabrics I would send you to Maharam to look at their 20th Century Modern collection. Some of those are the real deal by Eames and Girard. Anyway, when you get further along in your plans then I can give better input.

I am planning to add scatter cushions and think if I do a pair of larger ones for each end so they go over the arms to creat height at each end, and a couple of smaller ones, I want to bring some colour in too. I do like the idea of a larger side light at either end to, Switching the sofas is going to be my final fix if all else fails!!

Did you get one of these TV's ? I saw one in the shop , mounted on a fake wall . It was small ( 32 or 42 inch ? ) and personally I wasn't impressed -- actually looked like those chunky framed ones from about 2004 when 'plasmas' first came out .

I realise its the art when its turned off that is the selling feature , but from memory ( its a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't interested in buying one haha ) it was about $2495 for what looked like a $6-800 TV . In other words , I won't be buying one haha .

Oh , and I generally dislike The Warehouse , but I have a few shops and commercial properties and bars , and we have used Veon TV's from the Warehouse -- I've probably bought 40 in the last 5 years , we've had only 2 stop and 1 got stolen haha . Bought 2 58" ones a couple of weeks back , on special , for $599 each with 3 year warranty , even their 75" which we've used in a lot of the pubs are $1500 .

I live in Hamilton , but spend a day or 2 a week in Auckland , and as I now a bit of a spokesperson for a couple of industries I'm involved in , a day or 2 every couple of weeks in Wellington too .

I race cars and half-own a Motorsport business ( amongst about 10 businesses I part own or own haha ) -- I was in Invercagill ( Teretaunga Raceway ) , Cromwell ( Highlands Park ) and Christchurch ( Ruapuna ) in January , but I only get to Christchurch a couple of times a year sorry . We have a large Freightliner transporter , and I bought a V10 powered Motor Home now too , so we drive and take cars and people down .

I suspect I've driven every South Island road over the years haha -- once I worked out to look for the Port Hills I worked out the one way street system in Chch haha , then half it fell over and they put cones everywhere . I've been out to Oxford and Hororata and Twizel and Otematata more times than I could count , same with Gore and Haast and Reefton .

One of our Motorsport customers lives on the edge of Keri Keri -- he has 4 or 5 race cars and maybe 30 classic cars , so often its me that drives up and collects or swaps a car with him -- he spends $200k a year on motorsport , a fair amount of that with us , so I do Whangarei and Kerikeri several times a year too .
