Mirrored plain simple

It depends on the rest of your bedroom IMO .

A similar mirrored dresser should suit , with scrolls and the 'fancy' bits .

A plain mirrored dresser will look plain in comparison , whereas just my opinion , but if you wanted plain I'd be more inclined to go a 'piano' finish black as opposed to white , but that depends on the rest of the styles and colours you are using .

I dislike everything matching so I would go with a painted finish Dresser, pale grey, black or white

Try to find something with a similar sort of traditional shape. The finish is better different. Deep charcoal, black or white are simple choices for a classic contemporary space. The key here is to compliment the side tables not compete with them.

I would like the overall look to be a light and calm space, so I don’t think I will go with black. I have just bought a silver grey curtain which I have not put up yet, and have a grey and blue rug and will probably buy some blue/white/grey bedding once I get the bed. I just checked the matching dresser is actually available, but I would prefer a plain dresser just incase the room looks too busy with all those scrolls?
Would any of these suit?

Ok now I have seen the painted timber scrolls up close I think you need to buy a timber dresser and paint it a similar level of quality and probably darker to let your bedside tables stand out

Hi Nada, if you’re aiming for serenity, my personal opinion is, while the style of the mirrored dresser is complementary, it would give a busier, more glam look. Nothing wrong with that, just a different aesthetic. Items can often appear different in photos, but there doesn’t appear to be any cohesiveness in style between your bedside tables and the second dresser. I agree with those who recommended not going with the matching dresser but, generally, colour alone is not enough for that put together look we all aim for. Some reflection of the style, for example similar shaped legs, tips it over from neat to stylish. Perhaps look at a similar style but in a distressed look or a very pale blue? Or take photos of your room and visit some showrooms and see what they suggest. Unless there’s a reason to hurry, take your time. And above all, choose what you love. Style is, and should be, personal. Your, to date, purchases are lovely so trust your instincts.

I have never painted furniture, so I do not think I will do that just incase I ruin it. But I agree a similar colour would look nice, but not many options here in Perth!

Jan, I agree I will go have a look this weekend see what I can find. Just looked online again and found this dresser, looks like it has similar shaped legs.

I think a white or pale grey would look lovely. Harvey Norman have a few. I’m in Perth too. Try to find one with similar details on the top edges and similar legs. Bedshed usually gave a few too.
