Hello! I've seen some older threads on here but was hoping for some additional advice. We have narrowed down our floor stain choices to Duraseal Chestnut or Provincial. On our floor samples, they look pretty similar but the Chestnut seems to pull more variety out of the red oak. We had hoped to neutralize the red as much as possible but Provincial feels like a sea of plain brown when I think of the entire floor vs. the variety from Chestnut. I see a lot about Provincial but little about Chestnut...any thoughts, photos, experiences? We will be using an oil based poly. Thanks!
