Is there a reason you can’t use the flooring?

It only comes in the 14cm width and I wanted the internal cladding to be thinner. I had thought about it

We are in a similar situation with engineered blackbutt flooring in matte (not feature grade but same species). We are working with a designer for a new kitchen and want wood laminate for feature shelves and front of island. He recommended Polytec Tasmanian Oak Woodmatt - I think they are a pretty good match. Hope this helps.

With the front island and feature shelves.

We are also using a polytec woodmatt for our bathroom cabinets. The designer choose prime oak for us as it has more black colour to match the feature grade. Hopefully it works out, although our floors in the bathroom are tile so the blackbutt is not directly against it.

Hi there yes I can see that with the black tones of the feature grade, the oak picks that up beautifull. Good luck with the Reno I am sure it will look amazing.

Have you thought about the new corrugated timber cladding, it looks fabulous around benches, there was a kitchen on the latest series of the Block and it looked stunning. Just an alternative to the normal.

I am in WA so some of these things are hard to get.

I believe it’s a Kinsman kitchen, if you Google the Block 2020 Kitchens or Kinsman kitchen website or Google corrugated timber cladding it will give you quite a lot of companies in Australia.
