Hi,

I am planning to custom build a house in a BAL FZ NSW land. I am thinking of a ~300sqm home [on a ~900sqm land with a lightly slope and rocks]. I am yet to do a land survey and architectural design and want to understand options of materials etc and get a high-level project cost to build before i connect with potential builders or project managers.

I do not have any construction-related experience and this is the first time I am planning to build a house. [good in Excel

Any suggestions/ideas/advice on materials/sizes/suppliers/technique/tricks will be greatly helpful on the following subjects:

• Glass Window / Glass / Shatter [~150 sqm in total consist of fixed-glass wall, glass windows, Sliding doors/window]
• Slabs/floor [Two slabs ~110 sqm each]
• Walls [exterior & Interior]
• Roofing
• Decking [~50sqm]
• Fencing
• Any other ideas

Also, if you know

• Any website/forum to find ideas to build in BAL FZ
• Any resource [MS Project template etc]
