We have dark floorboards like the ones in the pic.
Which dulux white colour would go good with the walls through the house? The house is modern, white kitchen, and theres alot of natural light, so it is bright.
Get some test pots . Its not only the floor that dictates which shade -- if the kitchen can be seen , you don't want exactly the same IMO , but you don't want to clash either .
Sounds lovely. I’d take a kitchen cabinet door and have it paint matched. That way you’ll know if it’s a cool or warm white and you can take it from there. Your room will never look quite right if you clash the whites. Dulux Snowy Mountain 1/4 seems to be the popular white at the moment. But as suggested you’ll need to get sample pots as everyone feels differently about their whites.
It is open plan and the kitchen, is a bright white, i dont know what colour. The current colour on the walls is hog bristle qtr, but we want to go whiter as it is too beige for us. The kitchen cupboards are very white compared to the hog bristle qtr walls.
so maybe matched the wall colour to the white of the kitchen cupboard doors?
Just be aware that the purer the white the more colour will be reflected off the floor. Your timber floor has some strong reddish tones, so any pure white walls will pick up a slight pink tinge as the red colour will be reflected off the floor, especially with any direct sunlight bouncing off the floor.
Sample pots are the way to go, or steer away from the purer whites and go to warmer off-whites and beiges where the pink tinge will be less noticeable (but still there),
