I guess it depends on budget , and what you want to achieve .

A low rendered fence , probably with square posts every metre , would work , especially if rendered/painted exactly the same shade as your house .

But more budget would be some low plants around the letterbox , and even come a metre or so towards the centre -- similar plants to your existing garden -- flaxes and grasses and something taller towards the left side . It sort of balances the look , slightly closes the front in , claims the lawn as yours . Oh , and cheaper too probably .

Yes agree with Pottsy, rendered same colour as house, think outside the square and make it your own unique style, or simple using a hedge similar to side with rendered posts, lovely house.

I would be inclined to plant a hedge next to your parking area rather than a front fence. The open nature of your front area is quite nice and there have been several studies of crime prevention through environmental design that show an increase in crime with the addition of high fences. However, it depends on your street - if you are the only one with an open yard, it might look better in the streetscape with a fence that ties in with those around it.
