1930s to Now Bathroom Transformation

This 1930’s home was purchased by my client 3 years ago and this has now been updated with a new bathroom and kitchen. The layout of the bathroom was very tight and there was only a shower over the bath. The detailing was very much from the 1930s era as were the colour schemes. It was dark and in disrepair. There was also no storage or shelving.

Sketch Up Design:
The bath was removed and an easy walk in shower with one screen was installed. The toilet and vanity unit are still located on the same wall but there is now good circulation between the two. A new timber ledge was installed after the wall was built out to house the toilet cistern and the timber ledge is a lovely contrast against the white tiles. A full length mirror upon entry completely opens up the bathroom and with the lovely white finishes the room seems larger; brighter and definitely a better usage of the space.
