any tips for curtains on these rooms?

The first picture is what I’ve done temporarily (I used my old eyelet curtains).
Both rooms need to be as dark as possible and blinds have been ordered.
I like the style of the curtains in the second two photos but I’m not sure how to do this myself?
I know I don’t have many options for the first photo - (I’ll probably have to buy rod pocket or concealed tab top curtains).
Any advice regarding colours or how to make my curtains for the second photo look like the photos in the last two windows would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not sure if you can get full height curtains readymade. Check your suppliers

You will need double tracking or double rods . These will use double brackets which extend out further .If you are on a budget then Spotlight or Bunnings for the rods and Spotlight will have ready made sheers and classic curtains . I have just ordered double rods cut to size from Curtains4Australia and their prices were good . For the curtains and blinds look at BlindsOnline and their huge range . They will send samples of your choice out to you and have a range of fabric prices . If you need help measuring or any questions , then you can ring them and speak to someone who will explain and helping give you options for your window .I have used them for five rooms so far and they are spot on . I will be using them for the rest of my house except for the main sheers as I am after a particular shade and weave . ( I Seek Blinds - I haven’t used them yet ).

It's a rental so buy something that you can take with you that will work in your next home. Just stay with green and white. You may not be able to change the panels, but you could add to them where it can't be seen from the outside. Add white to the outer side of the blue panels. Then get a navy and white throw pillow for the accent on the white sofa.

I'd like to suggest that the most important thing here is more about who is using the room. If It's a child's bedroom use lovely children's curtains - there's so much around and any pattern could pick up the wall and floor colours. If a guest room and not used often I'd suggest a beautiful velvet or good quality Linen and forbid the little ones from going in to that room!!!!!! alternately a blind attached at floor level could be raised or lowered so the view is still there but with privacy from waist height perhaps. well, unless you want to spend a lot of time keeping the clothes sorted according to colour, hanging neatly etc, keep it hidden! Mirrors look great.

Textured linen or with a subtle print wont date. Feature walls make a room smaller as they jump out ar you. Wouldnt recommend. Get some interesting art or craft. Pick up colour with accesories

Tracks , double or single , can be attached to the ceiling or the wall . Colours are really up to your preference but usually a lighter sheer is used with a blockout fabric curtain . Good luck !
