Love my drawers. Some shall always wide cutlery drawers would be great. pullout corner -. There are some neat options rather than the lazy Susan. But I use my corner cupboard for large items that don’t fit in pullouts or a lazy Susan.

Where is the new oven/cooktop going?

in my opinion the wall oven and cook top set up you have now is ergonomically better than a freestanding stove and combined cooktop. If you are purchasing a 1200mm or 900mm oven, this also means that you are heating up a big oven, maybe for one dish.

If you have the oven on and using the cooktop, then standing becomes a very hot experience while stirring food. If you require more oven space then maybe stack two 600mm ovens.

For drawers I would suggest one shallow drawer and two deeper drawers below. The following depths.

120 internal 180 front height

240 internal 290 front height

the width of the drawers will depend on the best measurements for your kitchen space.

i would do two sets of drawers next to your existing 450 wide bank of drawers. Keep those drawers for cutlery etc. new drawers can be used for cups and pots and plastic ware and food, whatever you like.

if installing a freestanding oven, you will lose the other cupboards, keep the existing drawers that are under oven, convert oven to another cupboard.

leave cupboards under sink. Or if budget allows have the same set up as above, with cut out allowing for sink plumbing.

From photos you have posted, you will only get the 600mm of additional bench space if install a new freestanding oven.

@dreamer that's so true, as I previously in older posts mentioned, we want to move our fridge, which is a night mare, can't find a room for it :), then hopefully we will get more benchtop space.
