Our client approached us with a clear objective: they wanted a plunge pool that used polished concrete and white Bisazza tiles to perfect a low-maintenance design. The pool was to be sophisticated and elegant with a sky blue water colour, kind of like a serene vacation in your own backyard, and we were happy to help.

One of the exciting parts about this project was that our clients were happy to be guided by our suggestions, so we were able to have a few discussions about the materials and finishes we wanted to include in the final design. We started with the focal point of the project - the pool - and made sure to get the design right as using polished concrete was an important part of the brief. The show-stopper of the project is the stone feature wall, and after deciding that we weren’t afraid to mix materials, this gave us the sleek foundation we needed to be able to start warming up the design with low maintenance planting.

The soft outdoor lighting provides the perfect transition from day to night, enhanced by the designated seating space perfect for taking that afternoon BBQ into evening drinks by the pool. The glass fence around the pool creates the illusion of connection, ensuring those staying dry don’t feel separated from the fun.
