Furnishing new home

Hello team!
I'm am soon to move into my first home. I am in the fortunate (but expensive) position that I am furnishing it from scratch...but I dont know where to start with a layout!!
In particular I am at a loss with the Family area and the Living room.
My only real requirements for these spaces is to have built in (or what looks like it) shelving/bookcases/storage in both areas, as the house doesnt have much...and I have a lot of pretty things to display after many years of travelling.
I would like a long couch with a chaise lounge in the family area, the seating configuration for the living is flexible.
Also...S-fold shears. I think I will have floor to ceiling in the Master, Living, Family and Kitchen spaces. I think I would like wall to wall in the Master, but what then should I do in the living room?
And with the massive sliding door (I added this myself), what should I do with the family window?
Stumped and a little stressed, any advice would be very greatly appreciated.
Many thanks!!
