Charming Family Home Transformation

We completely redesigned the floor plan of this three-way family bathroom. We managed to turn the three separate spaces into a very large family bathroom, with a separate doable shower zone and freestanding bath along with a custom-designed double vanity. We also added double linen storage towers and integrated laundry baskets for this family of 5 with three young boys.

By redesigning the floor plan we were able to position the bathroom separate from the powder room adjacent to the boy's bedroom wing. This then left the powder room as a private facility accessible to both the boys and guests.

We used a combination of porcelain marble look tiles, a timber look herringbone tile, and a classic Penny round tile in the shower. We painted the walls above the traditional trim tile and paired it all with white 2 pac cabinetry for a classic timeless look.

It was important that the powder room was a vibrant and fun experience for guests and the family. We tiled a classic subway on the wall and created a sense quirk by placing a hand-painted black and white spotted tile on the wall in a random placement. We then choose an impactful wallpaper of oversized quinces and foliage with little butterflies featured also. The premade wall hung vanity made the powder room spacious and we hung an antique mirror and hand-forged and plastered feature wall light.

Overall we are thrilled with the transformation as is the client.
