Skylight replacement

We are renovating our bathroom. It’s a room without windows but has a very effective fixed square skylight (50cm x 50cm approx) that has a plastic cover at ceiling height, sort of a dimpled clear cover that sits over the space but lets the light in. It does move a little on windy days. We plan to replace it with ‘Velux Sun Tunnel’. Hoping the sun tunnel will do as good or better job than the existing skylight. Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated.

Some if not all? Velux skylights don't have the dimpled plastic cover. To us, skylights are preferable to solar tubes ( additional light through a skylight, )

We replaced a standard square skylight with a velux. Awesome. Don't use lights during the day and love being able to see the sky which also reflects in the mirrors. Highly recommend over a tube if you can

Thank you. I’ll research the product you have installed.
